Under floor heating in one form or another has been around for hundreds of years.

With the advances of more efficient ways of heating (ie heat pumps)this has created a great way to centrally heat your home.
Hydronic under floor heat uses water reticulating around the floor in pipe work secured in the floor slab . This pipe work goes back to a central point or manifold area where it is zoned. Connecting feeder pipes from the outdoor heat pump transmits the heated water to the manifold area and then around the floor.
Each room can be individually controlled by thermostat.

This system can also be used to heat your hot water cylinder making it a very efficient way to heat your hot water.
